The Legion Community Park in Argyle, WI, has seen some great updates in recent year. However, the playground has not been the recipient of the upgrades it deserves. There is a broken slide that was not replaced, and other equipment is cracked, the large metal bases are peeling and becoming sharp. The Playground equipment is more than well-loved, having been used daily for generations of Argyle students, and we want to revitalize it for generations to come.

We want to prioritize the playground now, but it comes at a steep cost. This is where we need your help. We are working on a multi-aspect project that would not only create a safe and engaging place to play for our children and young families, but also provide accessibility to the playground and bathrooms for those who need it. This accessibility includes allowing grandparents to watch their grandchildren play without having to walk over uneven grass surfaces. The project includes stages, focusing first on the playground equipment, second on accessible paths, and third on additional access to shade, among other enhancements.

The Argyle Community Parks Foundation is dedicated to enriching the heart of our village by creating and maintaining clean, safe, and inclusive spaces where children can play, seniors can stay active, and neighbors can connect. Through close partnership with the Village and School District, we aim to build vibrant parks that bring joy, wellness, and togetherness to our entire community.
