For nearly 40 years, Big Shoulders Fund has made quality educational opportunities and experiences available for thousands of students across Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana – serving approximately 25,000 students and 92 schools today. The impact of a Big Shoulders Fund school education will last for generations to come.

The Big Shoulders Fund community continues to push our mission, schools, and students forward. Just last year you enabled:

97 percent of students to graduate from high school;
80 percent of scholars to enroll in college the year after graduation;
65 schools to be adopted by Patrons with a personal and financial commitment to build a strategic plan for the future; and,
The launch of our Teach from Within Program to address the national teacher shortage.

As we continue to expand resources to meet the needs of students and schools, we are honored to serve as the steward of your investment and partner with you in empowering scholars to pursue their fullest potential through a high-quality education.
