Pacem in Terris is a 59-year old local peace and justice nonprofit 501(c)3 organization whose mission is to build relationships that transform minds to foster healing and peace. Pacem's programming provides opportunities to develop collective understanding of both our different experiences and shared humanity.

Arts for Peace is one of Pacem’s most beloved initiatives. In February, 460 visions of peace were on display from over 30 schools and community groups statewide, at the Wilmington Library. Over 400 people attended the opening including 80 artists and their families. Jurors selected the strongest messages of peace. Selected artwork will be framed and travel to prominent locations throughout the state, including Nemours Children’s Hospital, The Grand, Legislative Hall, State of Delaware Courthouses, Social Service centers, and Children and Family First locations in three counties. Ten locations display year-long exhibitions of high quality reproductions. In December 2026, we are thrilled that the Philadelphia Airport will host 30 young artists' visions of peace for a year in Baggage Claim A!
