Now more than ever, journalism – and we’re talking insightful, relevant journalism – is needed in northwest Missouri and northeast Kansas.

It’s no secret that printed newspapers are struggling financially and have been for a few years. Many newspapers have disappeared from the media landscape.

That’s why News-Press NOW and our sister newspapers, the Atchison Globe and Hiawatha World, are taking the extraordinary step in asking you to help us pay for the cost of gathering the news.
