Local news needs your support

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought the local economy — and many of the advertisers who support our work — to a near standstill.

During this unprecedented challenge, we continue to make our coronavirus coverage free to everyone at atholdailynews.com because we feel our most critical mission is to deliver vital information to our communities.

If you believe local news is essential, especially during this crisis, please donate.

Contributions to this fund will help pay for news resources to cover the impact of the virus on our local communities, information on testing sites, which businesses are open, and more. All donations are tax deductible.

Thank you for your support of the Athol Daily News during this critical time!

Thank you so much for keeping our community up to date and thank you so much for including the story of Laura Neverett, the local nurse helping fight this Covid battle in our area hospitals! I completely connected with her sentiments about how much of a challenge it is right now to be a nurse and deal with all that we are seeing in the hospitals (I live in Orange but I’m a travel nurse working in NYC right now). She and all her coworkers ARE heroes!!! They are heroes everyday!!!! They serve the community and pour their hearts into what they do!!! And we are all so grateful!! Thank you!!!
