Aurway's Black Broadway Revue is a concert-style experience that mirrors a vaudeville variety show, set in the present day. Guided by an emcee through decades of Black Broadway history, audiences move through scenes and songs from theater's most iconic (and criminally underrated) shows. It's a theatrical history lesson in concert form, part nostalgia, part celebration of everything Black and brown writers, performers, and creatives have given the craft of theater.

This year, we're taking it further. In celebration of Aurway's 5th anniversary, the Revue becomes a full gala evening: dinner, cocktails, and a Harlem Renaissance-inspired affair honoring the artists who built the Great White Way and the ones building what comes next.

Every ticket funds Aurway's next chapter, new productions, our youth arts programming, and the partnerships that keep original Black theater alive in Newark and beyond. We're five years into building a Broadway-caliber repertoire on our own terms. This is where you help us build the next five.
