HELP BUILD A.R.T.’S FUTURE

Auto Repair Transformation (A.R.T.) is building a permanent home for this work, a community-centered repair space rooted in access, mutual aid, workforce development, and economic opportunity.

For years, A.R.T. has created pathways into the automotive trades while building affirming, community-centered spaces for LGBTQIA+ people, women, BIPOC communities, and others who have been historically excluded from the industry. This next chapter will allow A.R.T. to expand that impact for years to come.

We’ve been hard at work behind the scenes on a major capital project to help secure A.R.T.’s permanent future. With significant funding from Seattle’s Equitable Development Initiative (EDI) program and a small number of key funding partners, we’ve already raised approximately $3.4 million toward our $4.4 million campaign goal.

Now we need the community’s help to raise the final $1 million over the next six months to help secure A.R.T.’s permanent home and help bring this vision fully to life.

This permanent building will allow A.R.T. to:

🚙Create more opportunities for workforce development and hands-on training
🚘Grow community programming, workshops, and mutual aid efforts
🛻 Build long-term stability for this work and the communities it serves

As we enter Pride season and a busy summer of community events, now is the time to help build momentum for this campaign.
