Who is the BALIF Foundation? The BALIF Foundation was founded to complement the great work BALIF has achieved over 40 years. The Foundation was created to serve as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization for BALIF and is dedicated to increasing the number of LGBTQI judges on the bench through educational programming, supporting LGBTQI community organizations, and providing scholarships, summer stipends, and fellowships for LGBTQI law students and young attorneys seeking to help the LGBTQI community through legal work. Although our community has achieved great strides in improving LGBTQI civil rights, there is still so much work to accomplish.

When and Where is the Event? It is at the Lookout (3600 16th St, San Francisco) on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.

How Do I Sponsor? We have multiple sponsorship levels to fit your budget: $1,000, $500, $250 and $150. Do not be shy about stretching your sponsorship pledge—the BALIF Foundation is a 501(c)(3)!

If you cannot sponsor this year, you can still attend the party and raise critical money for the BALIF Foundation. Tickets are $25 at the door and every dollar benefits the BALIF Foundation, so bring lots of friends.
