Strike Out Stigma: Celebrating Over 40 Years of Bowling for Mental Health

For over four decades, the Strike Out Stigma Bowl-a-Thon has brought our community together to make a difference in the lives of those facing mental illness. Hosted by Transitions-Mental Health Association (TMHA), this annual favorite has become more than just a fun day at the lanes—it’s a chance to fuel hope, recovery, and wellness for thousands of individuals and families.

TMHA is a nonprofit organization committed to eliminating stigma and promoting recovery through meaningful programs like housing, employment, community, and family support services. One vital resource funded by this event is the Central Coast Hotline, a lifeline for those in crisis or seeking support.

This year, as we celebrate our 2026 Bowl-A-Thon, we’re thrilled to invite you to join the celebration at Pismo Bowl, Rancho Bowl in Santa Maria, and Mustang Lanes at Cal Poly. By lacing up your bowling shoes, you’re helping to ensure TMHA can continue providing critical services that empower individuals to thrive.
