I am raising funds for BIrdsCaribbean because I have witnessed first-hand the positive impacts that this new initiative, the Caribbean Bird Banding (CBB) Network, is having in the region. We are empowering young conservation professionals and building capacity for local research, monitoring, outreach, and education. Bird banding is powerful tool for studying both migratory and resident birds, which, in turn, informs conservation efforts.
