Hi, fellow birding enthusiasts!
The Warbling Warriors is a birdwatching team created for the Global Big Day on May 13th, 2023. I lead this team along with my Puerto Rican colleague, Alondra Norat. We want to raise awareness of the growing participation of women in ornithology, as highlighted by the team’s Spanish name “Reinitas Guerreras”. We invite anyone with an interest in bird conservation to join us, from the Caribbean region or abroad. The Warbling Warriors are also fundraising to support the new Caribbean Bird Banding Network, which provides training opportunities and resources for BirdsCaribbean members.
