Body Empowerment Project is excited to announce its Fifth Annual Giving Campaign!

Body Empowerment Project (BEP) reduces the risk of eating disorders and promotes positive mental health outcomes among adolescents through inclusive, evidence-based prevention programming. Focused on serving marginalized youth in underserved communities, BEP empowers the next generation to build confidence, self-esteem, and positive body image through meaningful near-peer connections—fostering resilience, advocacy, and equity in mental health and body acceptance.

BEP 2025 Highlights

Here are some exciting highlights of what we accomplished in 2025:

Empowered over 1200 Adolescents Total
Our UCLA chapter conducted research on our Flapship Program with undergraduate students
Introduced a new college chapter at the University of Michigan
Onboarded 2 new board members
Partnered with 6 new programming sites with Flagship, Mini-Series, and Pop-Up programs
Were featured in 2 national publications
Advised the Girl Scouts on their new Body Appreciation Badges
Joined the Collaborative of Eating Disorder Organizations (CEDO)
