As the signature fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Ohio (BBBSNWO), this event brings together community members, businesses, and supporters for an evening of fun, friendly competition, and meaningful change.

Why Mentorship Matters

Mentorship plays a critical role in shaping the lives of young people, helping them build confidence, develop essential life skills, and achieve academic and personal success. Research from MENTOR: The National Mentoring Partnership shows that young people with mentors are 55% more likely to enroll in college and 78% more likely to volunteer in their communities (MENTOR, 2021). Additionally, youth mentorship has been linked to higher self-esteem, improved school performance, and reduced risk of negative behaviors (The Search Institute, 2020).

Through programs supported by Bowl For Kids’ Sake, BBBSNWO provides young people with the guidance and encouragement they need to become future leaders, strengthening our communities one relationship at a time.
