At Black Girls Love Math, we believe that math is more than numbers: it’s confidence, creativity, and opportunity. For many Black girls, barriers like lack of representation and access to resources make STEM feel out of reach.

Your support changes that. With your donation:

$25 provides snacks for a week of afterschool enrichment programming.

$50 covers program supplies for one student participant in the afterschool enrichment program.

$100 covers program supplies for one student participant in the Weekend Slam program.

$250 provides snacks for a semester of afterschool enrichment programming.

$500 sponsors a participant's Weekend Slam semester fees.

$1,000 adopts a full cohort of girls for a semester.

$2,500 sponsors a 2026 trip to the Museum of Math.

Meet Chelsea a student who once approached math as “just another thing she has to do.” After joining Black Girls Love Math, her confidence skyrocketed - she began volunteering at the white board, asking critical questions, and even inspiring her classmates to join. Chelsea took the NYS math state test for the first time and nearly scored a perfect score. Beyond the numbers, she discovered a love for collaboration, weekly friendly competitions, and even dancing with friends - proving that math can be fun and creative.
