After braving winter’s challenges — feeding, sheltering, and keeping our rescues safe through freezing nights — we stepped up once again when more dogs in our community needed help.

A community dog got into a fight, breaking a tooth and suffering a painful ear infection. His family reached out because they had nowhere else to turn, and we made sure he was seen by a vet and started on treatment.

At the same time, we continued the care Angel needed after her leg amputation, helping our brave girl keep moving forward into her new life.

And on top of that, we purchased six doses of heartworm prevention for the dogs that urgently needed protection, because prevention now saves lives — and huge medical costs — later.

All of these acts of love and responsibility have added up to a $886 vet bill.

We haven’t received support for this yet, which is why we’re asking for help now. Every dollar goes directly to helping dogs who have no safety net except this community.
