On Saturday, March 28th, 2026, The Flagler Humane Society will hold its first annual Bark in the Park event, featuring a 1-mile fun walk with dogs! This event is a fundraising event to support our shelter's mission.

A Lifesaving Shelter:
Flagler Humane Society is proud to be a no-kill shelter, saving over 90% of the pets that come through our doors. For three years in a row, we’ve been recognized nationally by Best Friends Animal Society for this lifesaving achievement.

Thousands Helped Every Year:
In 2024 alone, we found homes for over 2,100 pets, reunited more than 550 lost animals with their families, and provided over 30,000 volunteer hours of care to animals in need.

Essential Veterinary Services:
We keep pets healthy and prevent homelessness by offering the community low-cost spay and neuter surgeries, wellness visits, vaccinations, dental cleanings, and nail trims—with more than 2,500 surgeries and 13,000 vaccines provided last year.

Supporting Families & Pets in Need:
Beyond the shelter walls, we run a pet food pantry to help local families feed their animals, ensuring pets can stay in their loving homes rather than be surrendered.
