The BPM Drum Festival (August 1st): We are thrilled to present this new celebration of rhythm, music, and cultural diversity right here in the neighborhood! Stay tuned for dates and details as we bring incredible energy to our public spaces.
Global Welcoming Week (September 10th-19th): Bayside prides itself on its incredible diversity. We are gearing up for a week of inclusive events celebrating all who call our neighborhood home. Details coming soon!

Our Ongoing Efforts Within the Neighborhood

Whether we are advocating for pedestrian safety or planting trees, the BNA is laser-focused on creating real change through community consensus and activism. Your donations directly support:

Environmental Stewardship: The Chestnut Street Community Garden (Portland’s only community garden run entirely without city funding!), the Green Team's tree canopy audits, and urban tree plantings.
Neighborhood Cleanups: Longstanding Spring and Fall community-wide cleanups, plus monthly "walk the block" targeted litter sweeps by the Citizens’ Trash Brigade.
Safety & Infrastructure Advocacy: Collaborative pedestrian safety audits, crosswalk improvements, and crime prevention with the Safe Streets Team.
Community Connection: The quarterly Baysider newspaper, candidate forums, the Business Breakfast Club, and the Annual Harvest Feast.
