Box of Hope: Weekend Food Backpacks

"Sometimes when we don't have food in the house I eat food out of the (Nourishment for Learning) bag."

"My Mom doesn't have a lot of money to buy food and we like what's in the bag."

"Thank you for the food!"

Every weekend, children in our community go home to empty cupboards. Without consistent nourishment, students struggle to focus, learn, and succeed in school. Box of Hope: Nourishment for Learning is changing that one backpack at a time.

Through this initiative, we provide nutritious weekend meal kits to students facing food insecurity in North Tonawanda. Each meal kit is carefully curated to offer healthy, easy-to-prepare foods that sustain children through the weekend so they return to school ready to learn, grow, and thrive.

Your Impact

$15 = One weekend backpack for a student
