We’re excited to continue the success of Wausau’s first-ever walking light show! This immersive experience for all ages will delight with a botanical-inspired sea of special visual effects. Stroll through the myriad of dramatic, artistic lights and light sculptures gracing the various spaces around 10 acres of the Gardens.

Discover nature in a whole new light at Blossom of Lights. Step into a world of enchantment, immerse yourself in the beauty, and experience Nature. Illuminated.

New features this year include a longer trail and interactive elements. Tickets can be purchased both online or in person at the event, no time slot required.

THIS EVENT USES OUR NEW PARKING LOT AT OUR NEW ENTRANCE'S ADDRESS! When attending Blossom of Lights, go to 1901 N 4th Ave (first driveway north of Benedictine Living on the East side of 4th Ave).

Know before you go:

Print your tickets or show them on your phone to be scanned at the gate. If you do not have a printed ticket to show or scanning the QR code on your phone is not working, please plan to wait for our staff to have an opportunity to look up your tickets by name.
You may see a date of Sept 18 on your ticket, but tickets are not date-specific. Sept 18 is the first day of Blossom of Lights.
No pets except on pet night (October 2).
No carry-in food or drinks.
Drinks and Blossom of Lights / Monk Botanical gardens merchandise will be for sale.
Tickets are non-refundable.
No membership discount for Blossom of Lights tickets.
This event is rain, snow, or clear skies, and all outdoors. Dress appropriately for the weather.
Cocoa and hot cider will be available for purchase by cash, check, or card.
If an evening is canceled due to dangerous weather conditions, that will be posted on our social media and website. Because tickets are not date-specific, we are not able to email you individually to notify you of weather cancelations. If you aren’t sure, please check online or call our office at 715-261-6309.
If you purchase tickets, but never attend an evening of Blossom of Lights, your tickets are still non-refundable.
You must attend on the day of the week indicated on your ticket (Wed/Thurs or Fri/Sat). If you attend on a different day you may need to pay additional fees before entry.
