For 10 years, Battle of the Lawyer Bands has rocked the courtroom, the stage, and our community — all while fueling the mission of the Clark County Volunteer Lawyers Program. This year we’re unleashing our most excellent 80’s throwback with neon, big hair, and unforgettable songs. But more than nostalgia, this night is about purpose: every dollar donated is your vote for the band you love. The band that raises the most money wins — and your dollar determines who takes home the coveted golden guitar. These “votes” also help fund free legal aid for folks facing housing, family law, employment, or immigration hurdles. Let’s make justice loud 🤘

We want a legal system that is accessible, fair and community centered.

What This Means...

Low income clients with criminal matters are guaranteed public defenders if they cannot afford an attorney.

The same is not true for clients experiencing civil legal issues (like divorce, custody, or evictions). We aim to uphold the purpose of the law by empowering low income clients to truly utilize the justice system effectively.

The nature and depth of our work has grown over the years, but our priority continues to be ensuring equitable access to justice for everyone in our community.
