About the Band:
River North is a powerhouse band of PUREBRED Clark County lawyers who shred expectations with their wide vocal range and crazy genres and styles, ranging from power ballads, a little bit of country, pop, soul, and straight-up rock.
The band was born during COVID, when Alex Uskoski and Bennett Brandenburg discovered their shared love (and collection) of guitars. Add Mila Boyd — aka Mila B — who’d been waiting for years for someone brave enough to claim her as a Battle of the Lawyer Bands bandmate, and River North was born.
Mila, aka Mila B, always loves a song challenge, whether it’s vocal gymnastics, or a classic, and she’s game to deliver (and play the guitar when allowed)!
Alex had never been in a band before joining River North (say what?!). Don’t let his chill disposition fool you—his guitar chops are insane!
Bennett, the multi-instrumentalist with the man bun and swagger, delivers smooth vocals, fiery guitar, and storytelling that lights up the stage.
Michael Green, aka Buzz Verde, is our ever-rocking, super talented bass-playing machine, who loves to grab a mic for some vocals. We might be lucky if he graces the stage in his classy sparkles.
JTEEEEE! (Duh-John Terry), is our band leader, and drummer, who has eyes for everything and ears for every note and beat. I mean, he’s a musical beast! If thereever was a BOTLB drum-off, JT is an unmatched force!
