At Family Promise of Los Angeles, we believe that every family deserves a home, stability, and the opportunity to thrive. Our journey began with a simple yet powerful idea: homelessness is not just about housing—it’s about community, support, and breaking cycles of poverty for good.

In Los Angeles, thousands of families struggle to keep a roof over their heads. The rising cost of living, unexpected crises, and generational poverty leave many parents and children facing the unimaginable—living in shelters, cars, or motels, unsure of what tomorrow will bring. We exist to change that.

Unlike traditional shelters, we provide long-term solutions. Our unique model offers one full year of housing, along with intensive case management, job support, mental health services, financial literacy training, and children's programming. We don’t just give families a place to stay—we walk with them every step of the way, ensuring they leave stronger, self-sufficient, and ready to build a future.

At Family Promise of Los Angeles, we see the resilience in every family—the mother working two jobs to keep her children safe, the father rebuilding after a job loss, the child finally able to focus on school without worrying where they’ll sleep.
