The Performance Project

What is the Performance Project?

The Project is a 3-month performance training program where dancers work with a BDS project faculty choreographer of their choice to prepare for a final showcase. Each Performance Project is tailored to the unique creative process of the faculty member. Styles range from Hip Hop and Prostyle, to Contemporary, Heels, and Commercial Choreography!

The Cast

This year's Project features a cast of 75 dancers, with nearly half of whom are performing in two pieces! These dancers are here today to demonstrate the growth and commitment they've achieved throughout the past three months.

Guest Performances

We are excited to feature two guest choreographers. Both are alumni of our Pre-Professional Program, a 3-month intensive designed for dancers aiming to pursue a career in the dance industry.
