At Children of the World Learning Center (COTWLC), we believe every child deserves the chance to thrive, no matter their zip code, income level, or language spoken at home. Backed by Charlotte’s Leading on Opportunity initiative, early childhood education has been identified as a key determinant of economic mobility and social equity—and our center is proud to be part of that mission.

With your support, we’re creating classrooms where children of every background learn side-by-side, where parents are empowered as advocates, and where communities are strengthened from the ground up. Your gift helps close the gap between tuition fees and the true cost of delivering our transformative programming—about $5,000 per student annually.

To raise money for student scholarships, we will be hosting our fifth annual Light Up the Winter Night fundraiser on Saturday, December 13, 4:30-7:30. In keeping with our mission of celebrating our commonalities as well as diversity, we are recognizing festivals of light celebrated by different cultures and faiths throughout the world.

This is a pivotal time for our organization. With your help, we can keep building a space where every child is seen, celebrated, and set up for lifelong success.
