The world won’t change because we hope it will. It changes through choice—and action.

The world feels like it’s fraying. Division, disconnection, and dehumanization are shaping our headlines—and our everyday lives. But it doesn’t have to be this way. The future we all hope for—one rooted in understanding, compassion, and courage—won’t arrive on its own. We have to create it.

That’s why we host free public gatherings—like Be-In Joy and the upcoming Be-In Formed—where people come together to dance, talk, listen, learn and connect. They are places where we get to practice and experience the stuff that makes a better world possible: curiosity, compassion, presence, real human connection and being fully present. Not in theory. In real life. With other humans. Sometimes awkward, often joyful, occasionally sweaty.

This Is How We Save the World

When these kinds of spaces happen often enough, in enough places, they start to shift the way people think, feel, and relate to each other. What we practice in those moments carries over. It becomes how we talk to our neighbors. How we show up in hard conversations. How we move through the world.

That shift ripples outward—and when enough people start showing up with greater understanding, deeper compassion, and a stronger sense of connection, society begins to change. The conditions for solving big, global problems begin to emerge. And, frankly, it just makes the world a much nicer place to live.

And honestly, the world can’t wait.

Division, disinformation, and dehumanization are accelerating. The only way to counter that is by creating a new normal: truth, empathy, and real human connection. We need real solutions—and we need them now. This work has to grow. And this is the next step.

The Price of Legitimacy (Spoiler: It’s $460)

The Be-In has already shown what’s possible: people coming together—across differences—to practice the things that can actually change the world. Compassion. Curiosity. Connection. Truth.

But right now, we’re stuck.

We can’t apply for grants.
We can’t accept tax-deductible donations.
We can’t build the kind of structure this movement needs to grow.

Until we become an official nonprofit.

That unlocks everything: funding, partnerships, long-term sustainability. It means we can take Be-In Formed (our next event) to the next level this fall. Start expanding to other cities. Create systems to train organizers. And actually scale the work of shifting how society operates.

It’s not just a formality--it’s the foundation.

$35 – Massachusetts state incorporation
$275 – IRS 501(c)(3) application
$100 – MA Attorney General charity registration
$35 – Charitable solicitation registration
$15 – Platform + processing fees (with a little room for the unexpected)

Small amount. Big difference. Peace through paperwork.
