Every day in Southeast Texas, dogs are abandoned, injured, or left behind with no one to help them. Some arrive shaking so hard they can barely stand. Some come limping, bleeding, or too weak to lift their heads. Some have eyes that tell you they’ve already given up. All of them arrive hoping that someone, anyone, will help them.

But then, they meet us. And everything begins to change.

For more than a decade, Furever Homes Dog Rescue has been that “someone.”

Since 2014, our volunteers in Texas and Atlantic Canada have stepped in for the dogs who have no voice. We take in the ones who are hurt, the ones who have been forgotten, and the ones who have never known kindness. We give them medical care, warm beds, full bellies, and the promise that their lives matter.

But we can’t do it alone.

Most of the dogs we save need urgent veterinary care such as surgeries, medications, treatments, and ongoing support that quickly add up. Foster homes need food, crates, blankets, cleaning supplies, and safe spaces. And once they’re healthy, we transport them thousands of miles from Lumberton, Texas to Atlantic Canada, where loving families are waiting to welcome them home.

Every dollar you give becomes part of a dog’s rescue story:
