Be the Reason Y.

The Metropolitan YMCA of the Oranges is comprised of seven outstanding YMCA’s throughout northern NJ and is serves as the philanthropic entity supporting these essential community resources. The YMCA undertakes a crucial role within our neighborhoods; providing a safe space to learn, socialize with your neighbors, and strengthen your body and mind, REGARDLESS OF YOUR ABILITY TO PAY!

There are hundreds of reasons to support the programs and staff at each YMCA. This #GIVINGTUESDAY, we’re mobilizing our communities to help raise $24,000 toward one goal; funding programs and services for 28 new families at each location. That means at each of our seven locations, four additional families will be able to take advantage of the life changing services provided by your local YMCA.

With financial aid applications increasing 81% so far this year, the YMCA is looking to take advantage of the international momentum of Giving Tuesday through a local campaign to support our friends and neighbors. This year, we’re asking for your support any of our YMCA’s with a gift of $28 or more, and share with 5 friends or family members a “Reason Y” you support the YMCA.
