For the first time, the Malaysian, Indonesian and Singaporean communities are coming together for "Bersama in the Bay" – a celebration of our shared heritage and distinct cultures!

"Bersama" which means together, is held in celebration of the AAPI Heritage Month, and will bring together 200+ attendees from across the Bay Area, including professionals, families and community leaders.

Is SingaporeConnect a registered corporation?

Yes. SingaporeConnect is a registered non-profit public benefit corporation in the State of California, with EIN 37-2180560. Articles of Incorporation. It is registered as a tax-exempt organization with the IRS under the 501(c)(4) (Social Welfare Organization) category.

Will I receive a receipt for my donation?

Yes. Givebutter, this donation platform, issues receipts and other relevant documents as required for your donation.

Are my donations tax-deductible?

No. SingaporeConnect is an IRS 501(c)(4) (Social Welfare Organization) exempt status. It is not a charitable organization. Donors cannot deduct contributions they make to you under IRC Section 170(c). Payment for services, such as tied to your business towards marketing or promotion, may qualify as a business expenses.
