For this year’s Holiday Fundraiser, our goal is to raise $15,000 to help support several of our newest rescues who have all come to us very sick. We will be fundraising throughout December, and we hope that with your generosity, we can help this group and new arrivals in the upcoming year.

These are currently our most pressing cases:

Princess (12)

Princess is a Bichon mix who was surrendered with another senior, Snowball (below), at a partner shelter. She came to us straining to pee, urinating blood, with a mouth full of rotting teeth, and with a bad cold. We rushed her to our vet who found she had several enormous bladder stones filling up her WHOLE bladder. She had emergency bladder stone removal surgery and is scheduled for dental surgery for her severe dental disease. We hate to contemplate how long this poor girl has been suffering.

Snowball (12)

Snowball, a Bichon mix, was surrendered with Princess. He has a serious viral infection for which he has been hospitalized for the last few weeks. He has had diagnostic cultures and X-rays and is being treated with drugs, fluids, nose flushes, and a humidifier. Once he improves, he will need dental surgery since his teeth are in poor condition and will also need to be neutered.

Frank (5)

Frank is a Shih Tzu who, like Snowball, is currently being hospitalized due to a mysterious viral infection. He has also undergone diagnostic tests and is being treated with drugs, fluids, nose flushes, and a humidifier. He, too, will need a dental and neuter surgery in the future.
