Ignite Your Mind: Birding Basics

This class is for anyone who loves our feathered friends and wants to spend more time observing them. The first part of the session we’ll cover field guides, checklists, birding hot spots in the area, gear, and electronic resources and apps such as Merlin and Ebird. The second part of the session we’ll get outside and look for birds at different spots around the St. John’s grounds. Seating provided outside. No strenuous walking or prolonged standing. Bring field guides and binoculars if you have them.
