Propel ATL is thrilled to invite you to our annual Blinkie Awards on Wednesday, May 3 at The Eastern in Reynoldstown. This year's Blinkie Awards will celebrate some of Atlanta's most dedicated sustainable transportation advocates.

In addition to inspirational stories from our award winners, we’ll have DJ Zegi spinning, food and drinks, bike valet, a fabulous view from The Eastern's rooftop, and door prizes representing our bike/walk/roll mission! Everyone attending the 2023 Blinkie Awards will have a chance to win an Edison Bicycles e-bike valued at $2,400, shoes & more from Big Peach Running Co, a Muchacho gift package, and a decomissioned MARTA bus stop.

Getting There:

Walking & Cycling: The Eastern is located one block from the Atlanta BeltLine. Two Wheel Valet will provide free Bike Valet services for the event.
MARTA: The Eastern is a 1.2 mile walk from the Inman Park Reynoldstown station, accessible via the Eastside Trail of the BeltLine, or catch a bus: MARTA routes 21 and 107 serve this location.
Driving: Located within The Dairies complex on Memorial Drive, The Eastern is adjacent to a pay by the hour parking deck.

Accessibility: The Eastern is a fully accessible venue featuring multiple entrances and elevator access to every floor, including the rooftop.

Dress: Commuter Chic
Dressy casual that is comfortable and durable enough to withstand a walk, a crowded train or a bike ride, while being polished enough to let you know you are enjoying a night on the town!

- Partnership for Southern Equity, which advances policies and institutional actions that promote racial equity and shared prosperity for all in the growth of metropolitan Atlanta and the American South. Propel ATL recognizes Partnership for Southern Equity as the 2023 Advocacy Partner of the Year for their work on the Metro Atlanta Racial Equity Atlas and participation in the Atlanta Transit Coalition

- Radical Adventure Riders Atlanta, which creates inclusive spaces in the cycling community through gender inclusivity and racial equity. They center the experiences of BIPOC, queer, trans, and nonbinary riders. Propel ATL recognizes Radical Adventure Riders Atlanta as the 2023 Expanding The Movement Award winner.

- Naoya Wada joined Propel ATL’s board in 2015 (when it was still the Atlanta Bicycle Coalition). Naoya channeled his love of cycling and commitment to sustainable and equitable transportation into his work as a board member. As Board Chair, he was instrumental in strengthening and expanding Propel ATL’s mission and guiding the organization's rebrand to Propel ATL. For his many contributions Propel ATL honors Naoya with the Founder’s Award.
