We’re fighting to keep our doors open—and we need your support now more than ever.

Every day, youth between the ages of 14 and 24 walk into Blue Diamonds Training and Consulting, Inc. carrying the weight of the world. Some have aged out of foster care and have nowhere stable to live. Others are bouncing between homes, sleeping on couches or even in cars. Many are facing depression, anxiety, and trauma with little to no access to counseling or mental health support. Some have dropped out of school, disconnected from jobs, and feel completely lost.

But when they come to Blue Diamonds, they don’t just walk into a building, they step into a safe haven. They find real mentorship, genuine support, hands-on workforce training, and a community that believes in them. They find hope.

Let me tell you about Jamal. When he came to us, he was 19 years old and had recently aged out of the foster care system. He was living in his car, didn’t have a high school diploma, and had never held a steady job. Jamal was quiet, withdrawn, and unsure of his future. Through our program, he received one-on-one coaching and mentorship, re-engaged with his GED program, and participated in our leadership and workforce readiness workshops. He got the emotional support he needed through trauma-informed care and, most importantly, he was introduced to the idea of becoming his own boss. Today, Jamal owns and operates his own cleaning business, serving both residential and commercial clients. Not only has he transformed his life, but he’s now mentoring other young men in our program. Jamal’s story is a testimony to what’s possible when the right resources, love, and structure are in place.

But here’s the hard truth—we can’t keep going without you. We must raise $25,000 by August 30, 2025, to keep our youth center open and continue providing essential services to young people like Jamal. These funds are critical. They help us keep the lights and heat on, provide meals and snacks for our youth, and continue our training, counseling, and mentorship programs. Without this funding, we face the very real possibility of shutting our doors. That means no safe place for youth to go. No mentorship. No access to opportunity.

Your donation today can change that. A gift of twenty-five dollars can provide a hygiene kit, a notebook, and a hot meal for a young person who just walked in off the street. Fifty dollars help cover a week of healthy snacks and bus passes so they can consistently attend our sessions. A gift of one hundred dollars funds a full-day leadership or job readiness workshop. With two hundred fifty dollars, we can offer a week’s worth of tutoring and one-on-one mentorship. A five-hundred-dollar donation delivers trauma-informed coaching and career planning for youth at risk of homelessness. And a thousand-dollar gift keeps our center open for an entire week, serving over 25 youth with meals, mentoring, and vital resources.

What We Are Asking For
