Blue Earth Defense is a global network of grassroots advocates, communities, and movements defending life on Earth from extractivism, green colonialism, systemic inequality, and ongoing land and ocean grabs. Guided by autonomy, mutual aid, solidarity, and direct action, BED strengthens community-led struggles and builds collective power for ecological justice.

As we launch “Building Global Solidarity for Earth Defense” on December 7, 2025, we highlight urgent frontline issues—green colonialism and Landback, Rights of Nature, defending Manila Bay from seabed quarrying and reclamation, degrowth, and leadership and communities of resistance. From halting destructive mining in the Philippines to challenging deep-sea mining, our speakers and allies will share real stories of resistance and hope.
