Help Borne Dance Company raise the funds we need to successfully fund our season including our November fundraiser, our mental health workshops, and our eating disorder awareness show in February. Your donations will help us pay for venue rentals, artist compensation, marketing, and other expenses associated with producing events and shows.

Borne Dance Company is a nonprofit organization based in Sacramento, CA. We believe that art is a powerful healing tool and we hope to spread the idea of “recovery through art.” By collaborating with musicians, visual artists, and spoken word artists, we offer donation based shows, events, and workshops that provide educational resources and information on where to find help for these conditions.

Our February show is an annual event that is focused on eating disorder awareness. At this event Borne Dance Company will present a new work in addition to showcase a number of local artists. All art is created and presented in the spirit of eating disorder awareness, positive mental health or body positivity. A portion of donations made at this event will be donated to local eating disorder and mental health organizations.

This year our shows will take place on Feb 22 and 23 at the West Sacramento Black Box Theater. Your generous donations will help us make this event a successful one. Help us advocate for mental health, and eating disorders through artistic expression!
