Imagine telling a mom who is leaving treatment and starting her recovery journey that she can come to a safe, stable home, but she needs to leave her kids behind.

Since our beginning, Restorations has filled the gaps in services. We are the ONLY Sober Living Home that accommodates women with children. Often, mothers have to choose between safe, affordable, stable housing in sober living and leaving their children in foster care.

We have a Gap in our accommodations that we need to close!

Currently, our two bathrooms are showers only, and structural barriers prevent us from renovating them. Our four bedrooms are on the same floor, and families can be disruptive, and we can’t accommodate adolescent boys. Our goal is to raise $20,000 toward basement renovations to provide an additional bedroom and a bathroom with a tub that can accommodate small children. This will remove existing structural and operational barriers, expand access to recovery housing for mothers with young children and adolescent boys, and strengthen family stability, long-term sobriety, and child safety in our community, which is facing a growing housing shortage.
