Please join us as we welcome Motown singer Brenda Watty to the Phillippi Crest Club.

All ages are welcome, and kids 12 and under are free! $15 advance or $20 at the door. We also have a weekend pass for $25 which gets you into both the Brenda Watty concert on February 8, and Passerine on February 9.

About Brenda Watty:

Brenda Joyce Watty was born in Baltimore, Maryland, and began singing in Gospel Choir at a young age. She moved to NYC to study voice and join other musicians in the music business. Brenda studied under the direction of June Monterio, a nationally recognized vocal coach.

After her studies, she began to sing with the girl's group The Toys, which had the hit song “A Lovers Concerto.” Brenda, now discovered, began performing with The Marvelettes, which had the hit song “Please Mr. Postman.” Her career started to blossom, and she went on tour with additional groups, including The Temptation, The Four Tops., The Crystals, Bo Diddley, Ricky Nelson of the Ozzie And Harriett show, Desmond Wilson of the Sandford and Son show, and many more.

A regular special guest at the Phillippi Crest Clubhouse, Ms. Watty is now in Sarasota, Florida, traveling and performing in her one-woman show, “It’s My Time,” as well as singing with various local groups in the Jazz, Pop, Dance, and R&B genres.
