26 Marches in 2026

Brides' March envisions a world where intimate partner homicide is eradicated, and people of all genders and ages can engage in safe, harmonious relationships.

Origin Story

For 25 years we've marched - every September 26th - to honor Gladys Ricart, killed on her wedding day by an ex-partner, and to raise awareness about the sad reality that many homicide victims are killed by someone they once loved.

The Evolution - $90k for 2026

26 years later, we are growing from an annual event to a preventive organization, hosting 26 Brides' Marches that will culminate in the Dominican Republic on November 25, 2026.

Your donation today funds non-carceral solutions to address domestic violence. Support our work to prevent fatalities that are traumatizing communities for generations. We march for Gladys Ricart 26 years later, we continue to heal, and we re-commit to bringing an end to the preventable anti-social behavior of intimate partner homicide.

Call to Action

Harmonious relationships should be the norm. Make a donation and help us continue our work designing spaces for youth, men and survivors to create new solutions for violence prevention. the prevention of homicides related to domestic violence.
