The First Annual Des Moines Burning Boat Festival was held at the Des Moines Beach Park on New Year's Eve, 2022. Proceeds benefit mental health and substance use disorder treatment through Valley Cities Behavioral Health Care. We raised just over $30,000!
Story
We believe housing support and treatment for mental health disorders and substance use disorders are more important now than ever before. This event is a fundraiser to support those services through our local nonprofit organization, Valley Cities Behavioral Health Care.
