Alzheimer's disease is one of the leading causes of death in the US, and has affected many people close to me, including my late grandmother (Mama Day) and many of my patients that I treat day to day as a physical therapist. It's a disease that greatly impacts memory and everyday functioning in the elderly population. Without a cure, this disease will continue to influence millions of people unless a way to modify the course of this disease is found.
This year I am excited to be joining BvB Dallas (https://www.facebook.com/BvBDa...) for my third year, a young professionals philanthropy who's mission is to raise funds and awareness for Alzheimer’s disease research. I am excited to be stepping into a larger role as one of the Team Pink Co-Captains to help lead on and off the field in tackling this disease.
My goal in this season is to raise $3000 to
support this amazing organization, my Mama, my patients and to help find a cure for future generations who will have to battle this incredibly impactful disease.
Any amount that you can donate will be greatly appreciated.
I cannot wait to see the impact that this organization makes in 2024-2025.
