Drumroll, please!

Music is more than a playlist. It’s an unofficial friend group who tap their feet to the beat. A band speaking the language of sound, instruments, and the social-emotional skills you gain working together with people from all walks of life to make some noise.

This is a fundraiser to show the uninitiated how it’s done. Donate to our campaign to bring music back to our under-resourced communities. Or grab a bucket and film a video showing off your best #drumroll!

Why are we banging on buckets?

Studies show only 49% of students in our public schools participate in music education during the school day. It’s up to us to keep Music in our schools. Let’s show off what makes music class essential to a well rounded education. Rock out and make some noise with the #drumroll challenge!

All proceeds from this campaign benefit students in Band in a Bus's music programs. Band in a Bus is a registered 501(c)3 organization. All donations made to this campaign are tax deductible.

Every dollar helps. Your support can make a difference at the following levels:

It costs around:

$50 for the Band to provide an engaging music class to a student (kazoos and all!)

$150 for us to provide an experience for a class of 15 students

$1500 for us to provide a music making experience for a classroom for a semester.

$3000 for us to provide a music program for a school in need for a whole year!
