COVID-19 IS HITTING CHILDREN IN POVERTY THE HARDEST

THE PANDEMIC PROBLEM

Income loss due to COVID-19, along with natural disasters, food shortages and rising food prices are making it hard for families in poverty to have enough food to eat.
Access to medical treatments has become even more limited due to COVID-19. So, children in desperate need of care are suffering.
Families who lost their source of income due to the pandemic are facing eviction with nowhere else to go.

WORKING TOGETHER FOR RESOLUTION

Together, we are providing Compassion families with emergency food packs containing essentials like cooking oil, rice, flour, meats, vegetables and fruits.
Together, we are prioritizing access to health checkups, hospital visits and medical treatments for Compassion children.
Together, we are offering families rent assistance so they can stay in their homes.

C3 is supporting 11 children in need from Burkina Faso to Peru. These children were chosen as they were the oldest children waiting the longest for sponsorship. Currently, we have found it is taking children 3 months longer to graduate from the program due to COVID. Help us see them through to graduation!
