Join the California Doughnut Economics Coalition for our Briefing for Partners virtual event on December 4th, 2024 from 10:30 to 11:45am PT to collaborate in getting California within the doughnut - the safe and just space for humanity and the planet! This event is specifically designed for policy makers, educators, researchers, organizations, and institutions in California who want to learn about our recently released California Doughnut Snapshot, measuring the social and ecological health of California, and explore how it relates to and supports the work you do. It will be a great opportunity for coalition building and movement organizing within the field of regenerative economics in California. This work is guided by the Doughnut economics concept that aims to guide sustainable development by ensuring that human needs are met without exceeding environmental limits. It encourages a balance between social, economic, and environmental factors to create a thriving and equitable society. This event is free and will be facilitated by members of the California Doughnut Economics Coalition team including Della Duncan, Alaitz Aritza, Julian Kraus-Polk, and Stephanie Luz Cordel. The event will be interactive with time to review the details of the California Doughnut snapshot together and then explore how this research informs and relates to the work you do. Don't miss out on this chance to be part of the movement towards a sustainable and equitable economic system for California. Register now to secure your spot in this virtual event! This event will be recorded and the slides and recording will be shared afterwards with all who register.
