Della Duncan (lead presenter), Alaitz Aritza (lead researcher), and Julian Kraus Polk (policy lead) will present CalDEC's findings on the state of California's human and ecological wellbeing, social justice and breaching of planetary boundaries. CalDEC is concluding a year of collaborative, peer-reviewed research on progressive indicators for the state, to augment GDP and other economic measures. We invite partners to this free event, where the main researchers will present and allow for questions and dialogue. This snapshot can provide useful and clear information as a foundation for how funding resources might be distributed more effectively to solve the state's most pressing issues. This research was supported by a generous grant from the Cisco Foundation. You are welcome to submit questions at the presentation or in advance at [email protected].
