Courageous Access has been funded every year since our 501(c)(3) incorporation in December 2021 — receiving the maximum available grant from United Way of Central Iowa all four consecutive years we were eligible, totaling $75,000 in continued investment in our work.

Courageous Access has already delivered programming and impact across:

Iowa, Missouri, Texas, New York, Ohio, Illinois, Alabama, and Puerto Rico.

Our work has:

Achieved an 80% success rate in helping women avoid future predatory relationships
Created youth prevention programs addressing teen dating violence
Built community-based healing spaces that increase safety, awareness, and long-term stability

Now, we are scaling this work nationally.

THE EVENT

The 2026 National Conference | Chicago, Illinois

In October 2026, we will convene 150+ Black women from across the United States for a weekend of culturally-rooted healing and empowerment experience.

This is a protected, intentional space designed specifically for Black women to restore, reconnect, and return to their communities with tangible tools for:

safety
health
stability
and long-term resilience

Attendees leave not just inspired—but equipped with actionable, life-improving outcomes.

ABOUT THE SPACE

This conference is intentionally designed as a Black women-centered and occupied space.

All attendee engagement and in-room participation is reserved for Black women to ensure psychological safety, cultural alignment, and the integrity of the healing experience.

Sponsors are recognized through high-visibility brand placement, national alignment, and public positioning, rather than direct attendee interaction.
