The B.E.A.R. Program: Through this program, we send personalized teddy bears to young children who need comfort and support. Each bear has the child's name and plays "Jesus' Love Me" and three goodnight prayers when you touch its hand. It's a special way to show children that we are here for them and praying for them.
Family Connections: Your gift can help us purchase a tablet or Chromebook for a child, enabling them to stay connected with a parent within the jail system. It also helps us add funds to the jail's communication platforms, allowing a loved one to send emails and participate in video chats. You also help support foster families navigating tough times when a child has both parents in jail through no fault of their own.
Immediate Food Assistance: There are times when individuals leaving the jail system have let their EBT cards lapse. We help these individuals through the online application process for a new card. While they wait, we utilize services like Instacart and DoorDash to deliver groceries, ensuring they have a sufficient food supply for the first few days.
Camp Growth: Help us fund our day camps and week-long camping trips, providing a safe and nurturing environment for children with parents who are incarcerated.

Our Vision for the Future

At CA Jail Outreach, we believe in the profound power of a second chance for every individual. The 1-4-4 Growth Journey Roadmap guides our work, our comprehensive approach to transformation. It's a simple yet robust structure: one organization working to help four categories of people—men, women, families, children, and veterans—all of whom may be impacted by the justice system. We achieve this through four powerful programs.

Now, we are working toward two ambitious long-term goals:

Free Camp Growth 2026: Our goal is to provide a free camp experience for every child who wants to attend, ensuring that no child is left behind due to financial hardship.
Jail System Integration: We want to provide all our video, audio, and e-book materials directly to inmates. By integrating our content into the jail system's third-party app, we can help individuals within the jail system develop a strong character, deepen their spirituality, and foster a stronger connection with themselves and their families. This transformative project requires an annual investment of $100,000 to gain access to the system.

Content Engagement: Our educational resources are making a real impact, with our podcasts, Growth Journey: A Deep Dive Podcast, and Bible Bites Podcast - Big Truths in Minutes, reaching over 11,000 listeners. Our e-book landing page received 14,272 visits, and the download button was clicked 7,918 times.

Camp Growth 2026: This fund is dedicated to our long-term goal of providing a free camp experience for every child with incarcerated parents who wants to attend. Your contributions help us build a supportive and encouraging environment, ensuring that no child is left behind due to financial hardship.
Prison Tablet App: This fund supports our ambitious long-term goal of making our audio and written materials, including our podcasts and e-books, available to inmates. The funds will be used to cover the $100,000 annual cost required to access the jail system's third-party app, enabling us to help individuals build strong character and foster spiritual connections directly within the system.
Thank You Funds: This fund is a special way of showing appreciation to our dedicated volunteers. The proceeds from e-book purchases on Amazon are used to buy gift cards for our volunteers, serving as a small token of gratitude from our CEO and founder, David.
