Minnesota Women’s Press, since 1985, has been known for creating stories with community, not simply for community. CALL was developed in 2022 as an extension — storytelling designed for readers who want stories that lead to informed conversations about finding solutions and amplifying action.

Your support enables us to develop and distribute unique online first-person narratives and stories about core social justice issues, centering marginalized voices and feminist leadership from around the state.

MBA students at St. Kate’s asked Badass members why they offer monthly support: 74% said it was to “support coverage I don’t see elsewhere.” Our 2024 Reader Survey asked what impact people want to see from the Changemakers Alliance conversations and stories; the highest ranking response was “Creating solutions with others.” We need your support to add to our team in order to take that next step in a bigger way.

Changemakers Alliance seeks to expand reporting on important local issues such as public safety, mental health, and housing. Donations to Local Media Foundation for this project are tax-deductible to the extent of the law. No goods or services are provided in exchange for contributions.
