CARA (Community Animal Rescue & Adoption) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization operated by volunteers, board members, and part-time shelter employees. We are supported by private donations from individuals, businesses, and fundraising efforts. CARA receives no funds from the city, county, state, or federal government.

Each year, I design a Christmas Tree and donate the tree and all of the decorations to one Lucky winner. This year, I am doing it a little different. This year instead of setting the tree up in a retail location, I have decided to give the winner, the gift of having me actually install the tree in their home this year on Monday, December 4, 2023. (This is the preferred date and the install is limited to the local area. If you are outside the local area, everything can be shipped to you to install yourself. Shipping fees would apply.)

I have five rescue dogs currently and my husband and I also feed over 10 feral cats. We have a heart for the animals that are often overlooked and uncared for. We hope that you will purchase a ticket to support this Cause. CARA works so hard in the Mississippi community to provide as much help as they possibly can to all of the unwanted dogs and cats.
