A Child Should Never Have to Face Foster Care Alone

For 37 years, the Court Appointed Special Advocates of Southwest Missouri has been serving children and youth in foster care, providing them with trained volunteer advocates who serve as a trusted, consistent adult in their lives. In that time, we’ve helped more than 9,900 children. But we can’t stop there—because today, hundreds of children are still waiting for a CASA volunteer.

In 2023, CASA of SWMO launched the nation's first CASA Clubhouse—a safe space for children and families. In its first year, we served over 2,000 children. But the need is still staggering. Our current roster of volunteers allows us to support 491 children, but with 1,300 children in foster care across Greene, Christian, and Taney counties, there is more work to be done.

How You Can Help

In 2026, you can make a difference for children in foster care. Your donation will directly impact a child’s life.

$35 covers the background check fees for a new CASA volunteer, ensuring we have a qualified advocate ready to stand beside a child in need.
$50 provides the funding for a child’s birthday party.
$100 provides a comfort kit filled with essential items to the children we serve.
$350 covers the cost of a teen life-skills course, preparing older youth for independence as they transition out of foster care.
$500 funds six months of advocacy for a child.
