CASA of the Bluegrass presents our Spring Gala!

You may be wondering, what is CASA? CASA stands for Court Appointed Special Advocates. CASA of the Bluegrass is a volunteer-based nonprofit that serves Franklin, Anderson, Boyle and Mercer counties, providing Court-Appointed Special Advocates for abused, neglected, and dependent children in the family court system. CASA volunteers are community-based and are appointed by judges to advocate for the best interest of the children whose case they are appointed. CASAs focus their efforts on gathering information and making recommendations for abused, neglected, and dependent children, who otherwise may not have a voice. Often, a CASA is one of few consistent people in these children's lives during the course of their family court case.
