Charlottesville Community Bikes works to make biking accessible, affordable, and sustainable for everyone in our community. This year, the need for our programs has continued to surge, and we are on track to distribute more than 1,200 free bikes to children and adults with transportation barriers.

From kids who need a safe ride to school, to adults who rely on a bike to get to work, to families discovering the joy of riding together, your support keeps our shop open and our community moving.

A group of Community Bikes Board members has pledged a $25,000 year end match starting now. Every dollar you give will be doubled until the match is met.

$25 becomes $50 and provides helmets for five kids
$50 becomes $100 and covers a refurbished kids bike
$150 becomes $300 and supplies parts for a week of free repairs for our referral clients
$250 becomes $500 and provides two adult transportation bikes for neighbors in need
