Giving Tuesday: Help Us Bring Christmas to 430 Local Families

This year, the Community Christmas Store of the Roanoke Valley is serving a record number of families — 430 households representing more than 1,000 of our neighbors. And while the need has never been greater, our budget is tighter than ever.

On Giving Tuesday, we’re rallying our community around an ambitious but essential goal:

$10,000 to ensure every family we serve experiences a joyful Christmas.

Just 10 days after Giving Tuesday, our store opens for three days of appointments where families come to shop with dignity — choosing toys, clothing, household essentials, and food that fit their family’s needs.

We are a 100% volunteer-run nonprofit. Not one person receives a salary. Our core volunteers work tirelessly all year, and many of them spend their own money to keep things moving — buying supplies, supporting fundraisers, and stretching every donation dollar as far as it can possibly go.

But we can’t do this alone.

We’re asking our community to stand beside us.

To make sure 430 families know they are seen, valued, and cared for — and that Christmas morning includes not just gifts under the tree, but food on the table and hope in their hearts.
